i heart faces {vroom, vroom}

This week's photo challenge over at i heart faces is "Vroom, Vroom!" Entries must have both a face(obviously!) and a vehicle of some sort. Excitedly I have the perfect entry, and cannot wait to see what everyone else's creative minds come up with for the challenge this week.

This recent newborn session was filled with personalization, which I love, because the images are then more meaningful to the family. Daddy rode his Harley motorcycle over and asked if there was anything I could do to incorporate it into his new baby's photos. I'm in love with the result, and I'm pretty sure he is too! Here's his little Biker Babe:

It's another photo challenge over at i heart faces This week, to celebrate bright, sunny days the theme is "Got to Wear Shades!"

This photo came to mind for me, one that I really love of my daughter Chloe. This is our pool at home...we spend quite some time here in the warm weather! I love the reflection of her feet and the bright summery colors. But I mostly love that this will be a memory that I will hold on to in the future when she grows up!

Fix It Friday {i heart faces}

Today is "Fix it Friday Challenge" at I Heart Faces. I have never participated in this challenge but thought it might be fun to give it a shot.

Many people don't appreciate or even realize the post-process work that many photographers put in to the images after the photoshoot. Digital photography has allowed us to create a work of art and really express our style though this process.

The following photo is not one taken by me, but is the photo offered by I Heart Faces for this week's challenge. The first photo is the original, and the second is my "play" at how I would fix the image's flaws and add my processing style.
